Star of the Week

Our star this week is Isaiah!

Isaiah did a great job presenting his poem, poster and photos to the class.  We learned that he loves motocross and hockey, his favorite movie is "Here Comes the Boom", and he really likes Corvettes.  He had many pictures of himself sitting in a really nice white Corvette!

His little brother is a very important person in his life.  It was very cute when he brought Isaiah a Goldfish cracker during his presentation!

Isaiah's special guests were his mom, dad, brother, and grandma.

Star of the Week

Ethian is our star this week!

His presentation was focused around the things he loves; baseball, hunting and farming.  It was fun to learn more about him and the things he enjoys the most!

His favorite movie is The Dukes of Hazzard, his favorite series of books is Triplet Trouble, and his favorite TV show is Duck Dynasty.  We were not surprised at all when he told us what his favorite TV show was!

Ethian's special guests were his mom, dad, and sister.

Star of the Week

Our star this week was Miguel!

We learned a lot during Miguel's presentation of his poster, poem and photos.  Miguel's family is very important to him and he enjoys spending time with them.  He's a big fan of professional wrestling and his favorite band is LMFAO.

Miguel's special guest was his mom, Ruth.

Social Studies Projects

The 4th Graders have been working hard on their projects for the Northeast region of the United States.

They're using World Book Online for kids, nonfiction state books from the library, nonfiction Northeast region books from our classroom library, and their Social Studies book to complete four projects based on the states of the Northeast.

Nice job, 4th graders!  I can't wait to see your finished projects!

Star of the Week

Our star this week was Ben!

We learned a lot about Ben through his poster, poem and photos!

Ben's favorite movie is Disaster Movie, his hero is his dad, and his favorite book is Getting Air by Dan Gutman.  He couldn't decide on a favorite TV show, but he shared that his ideal vacation spot would be Hawaii.  

His special guests were his mom and dad.

Our star this week was Sarena!

Sarena's did a great job on her presentation today.  Her poster was very glittery and informative, and we loved her poem and photos.

We learned that she doesn't have any pets, but if she could choose a pet it would be a bug, and the nickname she would choose for herself is "Rena".

Sarena's special guests were her mom, dad and little sister.
