Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Friday, March 2nd was Read Across America Day in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday. Our 4th graders enjoyed a "read-in" for most of the day, and then at the end of the day we had a guest reader who was invited to read to our class by our Reading Corps volunteer Mrs. Bottleson.
My class was very excited to see Ole Olson, an Army National Guard member, who read to them last year. The 4th graders enjoyed his sense of humor as he read a tongue-twisting book by Dr. Seuss.
